You’ve got an outstanding marketing strategy!

Congrats, it sounds like you’ve got a pretty good handle on your marketing! No strategy will ever be 100% perfect, but overall you’re doing something that is working for your business.

So what does that mean? You’ve unlocked your potential and are running with it! However, even the best businesses know there is always room for growth.

Here are some tips to help keep your momentum going. 👇

1. Customer Experience

It’s essential to clearly understand who your customers are and how you stack up with your competitor to focus your brand’s message and own your market. Focusing on what resonates with your ideal customer will help deliver exceptional experiences to them.

Look at your brand’s positioning, messaging, and impact. A frictionless and effortless customer experience will help you build loyalty, engagement, and reputation.

After all, we know too well that it costs much more to get a new customer than to keep the ones you already have. Here is a little more on how customer experience in healthcare is an inside job.

2. Social Media

Have the right pages for your audience. (Like Linkedin for B2B and Instagram for B2C.) Research shows that 1 in 3 consumers use social media to discover new products and brands. With over 3.78 billion social media users worldwide, you may be left behind if you aren’t investing in social media.

An online poll shows that 78% of consumers are more willing to buy from a business with an online presence, and 77% will choose you over a competitor after a positive social media experience.

3. Keep your audience engaged

This might be one of the most challenging but important things to upkeep. Some things you can implement are asking questions, running polls, or even having your audience ask you questions with an “Ask Me Anything” session. Remember to be human!

Respond to comments with your personality. Show the people behind the business through photos or videos. Engage with your audience beyond just comments and likes – direct messages or story interactions will help to keep building your loyal audience.

4. Tools to track data and analytics

If you’re not already, use tools to help track your data and analytics. A free option is Google Analytics, to track the traffic on your website, know where your web visitors are coming from, the amount of time they spent on your website, etc.

5. Define your goals

Lastly, define your goals and start going after them!

When you’re coming up with goals for your business, it’s important to take the time to really identify the full scope of those goals in order to see a true impact on your business. In other words – you need to make your goals SMART.

No, it doesn’t mean they need to be clever or well-thought-through (although those are important as well), we mean SMART as in:

Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, Timely.
